Woman stumbles upon potential crime scene in her new storage unit, leaving her no choice but to call the police

Picture this: You rent a storage unit only to arrive at said unit to see a puddle of what appears to be blood leaking out before you’ve even opened it. All kinds of wild stories end up on TikTok and the case of Jasmine’s storage unit/crime scene is just the latest saga to grip the regular doomscrollers.

Storage units are creepy places and we’ve seen plenty of eery TikToks in such places. In a video that has already received 13 million views in three days we see Jasmine and her friends standing outside of the unit, perplexed at what they’re seeing. On the floor, a puddle of red liquid is visible spilling out from underneath the shutter.

The group are understandably hesitant to enter the unit as the puddle looks suspiciously a lot like blood. Could there possibly be the decaying body of some poor victim waiting for them on the other side of that door?

People on TikTok want answers

Jasmine’s viral video piqued the interest of the TikTok hivemind and people began demanding answers, wanting to know exactly what was behind that door. One viewer asked what they saw in the storage unit to which Jasmine responded, “u don’t wanna know :,)” The caption of the video also reads, “yes it’s blood so um happy 2026.” 

It’s not out of the question that it could be a body in there, it’s happened in the past. Whatever the case, now would probably be a good time to get the cops involved which is exactly what she did.

The police come to a disturbing conclusion

In an update posted by Jasmine she claimed that the blood puddle had gotten bigger since their first visit. She also stated that the authorities had been called and that police had confirmed that the blood did not belong to an animal which left only one conclusion.

So far she’s left viewers on TikTok hungry for more information but Jasmine has been somewhat silent on the matter. She hasn’t explicitly stated that it was indeed a dead body in the storage unit but that could be because the police are actively investigating the situation. However, the denizens of TikTok grow restless waiting for updates. Comments on her videos are all exasperated questions asking, “Girl why are we waiting??”

In her most recent video Jasmine claims she was contacted by the police by a number with a blocked call ID telling her to meet them. However, she wasn’t able to call the number back, but either way this is an interesting plot development. It seems there may be more to this saga yet and we may never get the full story at this rate. Either way, it seems people will continue to hound Jasmine for updates while we wait.
