‘I don’t know where Stefanie is’: Cops find ex-boyfriend inside influencer’s apartment after she vanishes, then discover what he did

Evidence says otherwise.

Police arrested the ex-boyfriend of popular influencer Stefanie Pieper after finding her body inside a suitcase dumped in the woods. Pieper, 31, disappeared after going to a Christmas party last Saturday. Police used drones and search dogs to look for her.

According to The Sun, she vanished from sight after stepping out of a taxi with her friend and stopped responding to messages. People got worried when Stefanie didn’t show up for a planned photoshoot. Her photographer went to her apartment to check on her. When he couldn’t find her, he called the police.

When officers arrived at Stefanie’s apartment, they found her ex-boyfriend, Patrick M., inside. He was there with her Golden Retriever, Marlow. Patrick M. works as a nightclub security guard. He told police, “I don’t know where Stefanie is. I only have the key to look after her dog.”

Stefanie warned friends about a creepy figure before vanishing

Right before she disappeared, Stefanie sent texts to her friends about someone strange near her home. She wrote, “There’s a creep in the stairwell.” She said the person looked like a “dark figure.”

After talking to police, Patrick M. left quickly in his red Golf car and drove to his home country, Slovenia. Police thought he was involved in Stefanie’s disappearance. They arrested him in Slovenia and brought him back to Austria.

At first, Patrick M. refused to talk to police. But after hours of questioning, he finally spoke. Police say Patrick M. attacked Stefanie after the Christmas party and killed her following a loud argument. Building strong relationships requires trust and communication, unlike what ended this tragic relationship.

Witnesses saw Patrick M. at the apartment carrying a “suspicious roll of fabric.” Police think he used his red Volkswagen Golf to move her body across the border into Slovenia. Officers later found his car completely burned in a parking lot near the border. This suggests he tried to destroy evidence.

Police spent days searching for Pieper using drones and dogs. They searched several properties owned by the suspect’s family. The case became more complex when investigators found the destroyed vehicle. They found her body in a forest near the town of Majsperk, Slovenia. Before this, police had found her phone thrown in a nearby bush.
