10 Marvel Characters Who Should Be A Priority For Netflix After The Defenders

Since the debut of Daredevil in 2015, Marvel has delivered hit after hit on Netflix. Season 2 of that series was met with widespread critical acclaim, as were the rookie outings for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Next year, we'll see the release of Iron Fist, The Punisher and The Defenders on the online streaming service, but what should come after that?

9) Misty Knight

Misty Knight was a breakout character in the first season of Luke Cage, and while it’s probably a tad too soon to be talking about spinoffs, it would be great to see her take on a larger role in this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.

While she’ll almost certainly return in Power Man’s solo series, it would actually be a lot more interesting if she made her presence felt in the world of characters like Daredevil and Iron Fist (especially as she’s actually had a romantic relationship with the latter).

For the time being, it looks like Misty is focused of bringing down Cottonmouth’s corrupt cousin, but once that’s done, it would be great to see her follow her comic book counterpart by teaming up with a certain other female character closely tied to The Defenders.
