Having watched The Flash since the pilot episode first aired, I’d have to say that it was highly satisfying to see Barry Allen and Iris West finally get married last season. Well, they technically tied the knot during Legends of Tomorrow‘s portion of the “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover, but you get the idea.

Though Iris began spending more time around STAR Labs slightly before that, one could say she’s involved in Team Flash’s day-to-day operations now more than ever. In fact, it’s caused some fans to bring up the fact that she’s abandoned her life as a reporter, but we can’t focus too much on how anyone in the Arrowverse is able to pay their bills.

Oddly enough, one of the best moments I’ve thus far viewed involving the newlyweds didn’t even air on television. Thanks to the folks at Entertainment Tonight, we’re able to glimpse a deleted scene taken from season 4’s upcoming Blu-ray release. And in it, Barry and Iris get a little tender over breakfast.

Though we can’t confirm which disc in the set this’ll be found on, it appears as though it takes place not long after Barry gets out of prison – and he’s understandably craving the company of his wife. Just don’t expect to witness the conception of Nora, also because that likely won’t happen for some time

When it comes to other bonus content to be included with The Flash: The Complete Fourth Season, know that this other stuff awaits you when the Blu-ray arrives in stores tomorrow, August 28th:

  • The Best of DC TV’s Comic-Con Panels San Diego 2017
  • Inside the Crossover: Crisis on Earth-X
  • The Elongated Man
  • Flash Time on Amunet Black with Katee, Eric and Sterling
  • The Fastest Mind Alive: The Thinker

As for new episodes, know that The Flash returns for its fifth season on Tuesday, October 9 on The CW.
