This groovy new poster for Starz’s upcoming Ash Vs. Evil Dead TV series sees the iconic stock boy of the title (Bruce Campbell) standing atop “the Classic,” trusty chainsaw at the ready. Also featured are Ash’s sidekicks Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana Delorenzo), who look like they’ve been indulging in a bit of Deadite-dismembering themselves.

Ash Vs. Evil Dead also stars former Xena Warrior Princess Lucy Lawless as Ruby, who is on a similar mission to Ash – the only problem is, she thinks he’s the one responsible for releasing the new wave of evil into the world, so she’s hunting him as well as the Deadites.

Check out the official plot summary below:

Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as the title character Ash, a stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the past three decades avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons — personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its evil grip.

Can this new series get fans back on board after that disappointing remake? We’ll find out when Ash vs. Evil Dead premieres on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. ET on Starz.
