The first clip, which can be viewed a the top, seemingly picks up shortly after Non and the other Kryptonians launched their attack on Maxwell Lord’s building. To say that he is displeased is an understatement. Lord no longer wants any part of Alex or the DEO and seems to be dripping with disdain for Supergirl, even more so than usual.

In the second clip, Kara goes full on Christopher Reeve/Clark Kent when she clumsily runs daily errands for Cat Grant, who has pieced together that Kara is, in fact, Supergirl. Kara will obviously do her best to deny this and hopes that her close friends James Olsen and Winn Schott will assist her in the charade. The CatCo offices seem to be the home of much of the show’s displays of levity, so it’s nice to see the delicate balance of drama and comedy continue.

The third clip sees Non attempt to probe the mind of Hank Henshaw with the aid of a subordinate who happens to be a mind reader. They seem to be bewildered by their unsuccessful attempts that are no doubt due to the fact that Henshaw’s powerful Martian mind prohibits their entry. Henshaw’s ability to keep his cool under pressure is perhaps the most enjoyable aspect of this scene.
