Constantine on Legends of Tomorrow

There’s Constantine Galore In These New Legends Of Tomorrow Photos

Yes, I'll concede that the current season of Legends of Tomorrow has a lot going for it, but you have to admit how the inclusion of John Constantine helped boost interest in the series. After his own show was unfortunately cancelled by NBC after only 13 episodes, Matt Ryan's iteration of the exorcist has become an unexpected and welcome addition to the Arrowverse in the time since.

Because of his continuing popularity, there’s just a certain level of excitement surrounding each episode of Legends that has a significant focus on Constantine. In fact, he’s proven to be key ingredient in season 4, seeing as how so much of it is based in magic and the fantastical, not to mention how this year’s big bad, Neron, has now taken on the likeness of John’s ex-boyfriend.

So, if you’re a fan of the trenchcoat wearing badass, then you’ll love what we have to present today. In the gallery below, you’ll find a number of photos promoting the upcoming episode “The Eggplant, The Witch & The Wardrobe.” Though it remains to be seen if the producers are cashing in on the rising popularity of the eggplant emoji, there’s certainly much to digest here.

One other thing I also couldn’t help noticing was a perky Nate talking to Zari. His father may have just been slain by the aforementioned Neron, sure, but I think the guy deserves to find some happiness following such a terrible tragedy – and hopefully he discovers Nora Darhk wasn’t the culprit before long.

For more on this one, be sure to check out the official synopsis:

YOUR PERSONAL HELL — With darkness on the rise in 2019, the team realizes that a new host of problems have risen as they have been cleaning up history. Sara (Caity Lotz) tries to save Ava (Jes Macallan) from a fate worse than death while battling her own demons. Nora (Courtney Ford) and Constantine (Matt Ryan), work together to take down a powerful demon. Meanwhile, Zari (Tala Ashe) gets unsolicited advice from Mona (Ramona Young), Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and even Rory (Dominic Purcell). Brandon Routh also stars. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by Morgan Faust & Daphne Miles (#412).

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Monday nights on The CW, with “The Eggplant, The Witch & The Wardrobe” set to debut on April 22nd.
