Daredevil Star Throws Shade At Thanos, Thinks Kingpin Survived The Snap

Daredevil star Vincent D'Onofrio is throwing shade at Thanos, as he believes that Kingpin would have survived the snap in Avengers: Infinity War.

The Marvel universe was cut in half when Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. We saw many of the Avengers and the Guardians perish as a result, but fans have been wondering for the past year which of the characters from the TV side of the MCU were affected in the same way. And while the fate of many still remains unconfirmed, it at least looks like we can cross Kingpin off that list. Or so says Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio.

In response to a fan asking him about the fate of Wilson Fisk following the movie, D’Onofrio had a short but sweet answer that summed up his opinion on the matter: “Thanos ain’t nothin.”

Those are fighting words, Mr. Fisk! A battle between the MCU’s two baddest, baldest men would actually be awesome to see, though. Sure, the super-human, Infinity Stone-powered Titan would have to win, but let’s not forget that Kingpin smushed a man’s head in a car door once. He’d definitely give Thanos all he’s got.

If you think about it, Kingpin and Thanos are actually very similar characters. While both are brutal, they believe they’re only doing what needs to be done to make the universe/Hell’s Kitchen a better place in the long run. They’re also depicted as only loving one other person – Vanessa in Fisk’s case, Gamora in Thanos’. We also wouldn’t like to know what Fisk would do with the Infinity Gauntlet on his arm. You definitely wouldn’t want to be Matt Murdock in that scenario.

D’Onofrio was last seen in Daredevils third – and ultimately last – season back in October. Since the show’s cancellation by Netflix, the actor has been supporting and promoting the fanbase’s tireless efforts to get Disney to renew the series on another platform with the #SaveDaredevil campaign.

While Kingpin’s future in the MCU is unclear, we do know exactly when Thanos will next appear, and that’s in just two weeks from today, when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
