Dean Cain Returns To Supergirl In Description For “Manhunter”

When the pilot episode of Supergirl revealed that Hank Henshaw was hiding something from the hero, the majority of fans guessed that the character would secretly be revealed as a cyborg similar to his comic book counterpart. When the pilot episode of Supergirl revealed that Hank Henshaw was hiding something from the hero, the majority of fans guessed that the character would secretly be revealed as a cyborg similar to his comic book counterpart. However, it’s fair to say than no one saw the reveal that he’s really Martian Manhunter coming.

We learned recently that J’onn took on that persona following the death of the real Hank along with Alex and Kara’s father, but “Manhunter” will reveal the full story of what really happened.

J’onn J’onzz reveals the details of meeting Kara and Alex’s father, Dr. Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain), and assuming Hank Henshaw’s identity. Also, Kara debates trusting someone new with her secret identity and Siobhan (Italia Ricci) plots against Kara, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, March 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Along with the return of Dean Cain, it’s going to be very interesting to see who Kara’s pondering sharing her secret identity with. The mention of Siobhan plotting against Supergirl is also noteworthy, especially as we know that she becomes Silver Banshee by the time that crossover with The Flash rolls around.

It’s going to be the Martian Manhunter stuff which is the real highlight though, and seeing him hopefully take on a much larger role in this episode of Supergirl should be a lot of fun for fans.
