As the highly anticipated second season of Titans inches ever closer, we’re seeing more promotional material surfacing online. It was only a few weeks ago that the first trailer began making its rounds in cyberspace, which was a real treat for those not able to attend San Diego Comic-Con last month.

This time, the teaser comes in the form of a poster. Sure, there was another that dropped back in July, but I much prefer this offering. Seen below, it better encompasses the expanding cast, and is overall more pleasing to the eye.

In addition to returning favorites such as Dick Grayson (who is conspicuously neither Robin or Nightwing), Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Hawk, Dove, Jason Todd as Robin and a Donna Troy proudly wearing her Wonder Girl attire, new faces like Superboy and Ravager are included in the grouping, while Deathstroke ominously stands alone at the bottom.

Though Deathstroke is certainly nothing new to live action at this point, I’m most intrigued to see what can be done with him on a show bearing the TV-MA rating. Plus, I must say I’m really digging the costume worn by Esai Morales, as it very much reminds me of the one drawn by Tony S. Daniel during his comic book run. I’d even go as far to say it may look better than those previously donned by Manu Bennett and Joe Manganiello.

Beyond that, all we can do is speculate what this new iteration of Slade Wilson will bring to the table, though it’s known that The Judas Contract will serve as some inspiration for the new season. So far, there’s been no word of Terra being cast, so I’m wondering if Ravager will play the role of team infiltrator. We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess.

Titans returns with new episodes on Friday, September 6th on DC Universe.
