Diggle Joins Team Flash To Take Down King Shark In Photos From Next Week’s The Flash

The CW has released the first official images from next week’s episode of The Flash, and while there’s sadly no sign of the returning King Shark, we do get to see plenty of Arrow character Diggle as he makes his presence felt in Central City alongside his wife and A.R.G.U.S. agent, Lila.

For further details on what to expect from the appropriately titled “King Shark,” here’s the official synopsis:

When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lila (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (David Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash (Grant Gustin). King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Iris (Candice Patton), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Barry. Hanelle Culpepper directed the episode written by Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes.

One particularly intriguing shot in the gallery above features what seems to be a bonding moment between “brothers” Barry Allen and Wally West. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as if things go too well between them, which should be very interesting to see play out, especially as we haven’t seen these two interact all that much in The Flash just yet.

After that trip to Earth-2 in this week’s episode, this outing is going to have a lot to deal with, but King Shark returning to The Flash should definitely be the highlight and is something that we’re really looking forward to seeing.
