We are not prepared for Game of Thrones season 8, episode 5, or so says the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke.

The Battle of Winterfell has come and gone, though it seems Game of Thrones season 8 still has a few aces up its sleeve as we inch closer to the show’s grand finale.

Case in point: during a soon-to-be-released episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Daenerys Targaryen herself, Emilia Clarke, told viewers that 8×05 is “even more intense” than the Battle of Winterfell. That’s not a direct quote, mind you, but a comment from a Facebook user claiming to have been an audience member on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The episode is yet to be released online, so we’ll have to hold our breath until the Powers That Be drop said footage, and we can hear this tidbit straight from the horse’s mouth.

Even still, if Clarke is already drumming up excitement for 8×05, it’s clear HBO and series showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have another big battle – or, at the very least, more big character deaths – waiting in the wings as Thrones begins to wind down for the final time.

But for now, we have this fascinating – albeit indirect – tidbit to pore over, in which one Game of Thrones super-fan relays a dark and ominous warning from the Mother of Dragons herself.

Game of Thrones returns to our screens this coming Sunday, by which point we fully expect to get a lay of the land (read: Westeros) now that Winterfell has essentially collapsed, the Night King has perished, and Arya Stark has risen to the forefront as the show’s most foreboding character. She’s already killed someone – or something – with brown and blue eyes. If that prophecy comes to pass, she’ll have to murder someone with green eyes. And with Cersei Lannister huffing and puffing south of the Twins, all bets are off…
