Euphoria actor Angus Cloud was allegedly involved in a collision and is wanted for questioning by the California Highway Patrol.
Per TMZ, the star of the hit HBO series was with a companion in an SUV when they rear-ended a Toyota in Marina del Rey. The pair allegedly sped off after the collision, leaving at least one of the passengers in the vehicle they struck with bruises on their extremities.
According to California Vehicle Code §2000, motorists involved in car accidents must stop and stay at the location where the accident took place. Failure to do so may result in a sentence of a maximum of one year in prison, a fine of up to $10 000, or both. Furthermore, motorists who flee from the scene of a crime may receive an additional term of 5 years in state prison.
It is unclear which of the two men was in the driver’s seat at the time of the accident. Cloud is not a suspect in the case at this time. However, he is wanted for questioning by the police to determine whether or not he was involved in the hit-and-run, and, if so, to what extent.
Young came to prominence playing drug dealer Fezco on the Sam Levinson tv series Euphoria, the most-watched HBO show since Game of Thrones. His character is the love interest of Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow). The series averages an eye-popping 14 million viewers per episode and is so popular it once caused HBO Max to crash.
