Even 2023’s daddy Pedro Pascal and a new ‘Mandalorian’ season 3 promo can’t please ungrateful ‘Star Wars’ fans

This isn't the way, folks.

Star Wars fans, pull yourselves together, will you? With the lowpoints of the sequel trilogy far behind us at this point, lovers of the galaxy far, far away have never had it so good. 2023, specifically, is set to deliver a wealth of new TV series, with the return of everyone’s favorite The Mandalorian for its long-awaited third season kicking off the following year’s festivities. Well, it used to be everyone’s favorite. Despite a new featurette just dropping, it seems some fans are now immune to Mando-mania.

Following on from a new poster that’s also been unveiled, this promo — which you can catch above — sees the cast and crew of the Disney Plus phenomenom reflect on the joys of bringing such a popular show to life. Not that you would know it from some of the reactions to the original video on YouTube, however. Many comments hail from ungrateful fans that are negatively comparing their interest in Mandalorian season three with that of the upcoming Ahsoka spinoff show, starring Rosario Dawson as Tano the Togrutan.

What’s more, Andor loyalists are still on their high-horse about that Diego Luna vehicle, the insane quality of which some have admitted before has spoiled them for another Star Wars series. While no one’s going to knock that acclaimed entry in the saga, maybe folks should remember that it’s possible to like more than one thing at once. Although, if they’re not feeling the hype then at least there’s more of 2023’s king, The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal, to go around for those less fickle fans out there.

The Mandalorian season three — which, yes, features Grogu back with his Space Dad — is due on Disney Plus in exactly a month’s time on March 1.
