Expect To See Much More Of Connor Hawke This Season On Arrow

Had you tuned in for the past two episodes of Arrow, then you've most certainly been reintroduced to a young man named Connor Hawke. Previously, we'd met him during Legends of Tomorrow's unforgettable "Star City 2046," which aired during that show's first season. Granted, we'd gotten hints of this coming, but seeing is definitely believing.

Had you tuned in for the past two episodes of Arrow, then you’ve most certainly been reintroduced to a young man named Connor Hawke. Previously, we’d met him during Legends of Tomorrow‘s unforgettable “Star City 2046,” which aired during that show’s first season. Granted, we’d gotten hints of this coming, but seeing is definitely believing.

Before proceeding further, it’s important to stress that while the same actor, Joseph David-Jones, played Connor across both series, Legends‘ offering isn’t the true future the Arrowverse is building toward. That said, we’ll definitely want to pay attention once Arrow rolls out “Star City 2040” soon enough.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, you should be happy to hear that we’ll be seeing much more of Connor as the current season unfolds, as David-Jones has signed on as a recurring guest star. Whether or not he becomes the Green Arrow of the future remains to be seen, but I’m guessing this’ll all build to a crescendo when the aforementioned “Star City 2040” arrives in March.

One other interesting tidbit to share is this description given by Warner Bros. Television, which reveals Hawke to be “John Diggle’s adopted son and friend of Mia who is hiding more secrets than it appears.”

Did you notice the bit about him being adopted? Yeah, we did, too. If anything, this raises more questions, because Oliver’s best buddy already has a biological son, that being John Diggle Jr. Needless to say, I’m quite intrigued as to how this young man entered the fold.

All we can do is keep on watching Arrow to discover the truth. In case you hadn’t heard, it’ll return with new episodes on Monday, March 4th on The CW.
