Extended Promo For Supernatural Season 11, Episode 6: “Our Little World”

The CW has released an extended look at next week's all new episode of Supernatural, "Our Little World." Fans will not want to miss this one, as it'll feature the return of Metatron, or Marv, if you prefer. Castiel begrudgingly asks him to assist in the battle with the Darkness, a decision he probably didn't make lightly. Viewers have no doubt forgotten what Metatron has put our favorite trenchcoat wearing angel through during the course of the past few seasons.

Those wondering what Metatron has been up to since last seeing him in Season 10 need no longer scratch their heads. It seems that he has been working as a freelance videographer for a local news station and is actually content with the direction his life has taken. He does not seem keen on the idea of helping our heroes, but one can’t picture him on the sidelines for much longer. Let us not forget that he still has possession of the Demon Tablet, and I highly doubt the producers have let that slip their minds. When that relic comes back into play, however, remains to be seen.

Another thing to notice in the footage is that Amara continues to age due to her steady diet of souls. It looks like Crowley can no longer keep his grasp on her. Sure, the trailer frames it in somewhat of a comedic light, but any entity that dwarfs the power of the King of Hell is no laughing matter. That is definitely a plot thread to keep an eye on as we race toward the mid-season finale.

Supernatural airs Wednesday nights at 9:00 pm EST on The CW. You can check out the official synopsis below:

METRATRON RETURNS — Castiel (Misha Collins) seeks out Metatron’s (guest star Curtis Armstrong) help to stop the Darkness. However, Metatron is pretty happy with his new life as a freelance videographer for the local news and isn’t inclined to help the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) or Castiel.   Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is losing his hold on Amara. John Showalter directed the episode written by Robert Berens (#1106).  Original airdate 11/11/2015.
