We may have to wait until 2016 for DC’s flagship characters to face off in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but there’s a superhero brawl heating up on the small screen that we can sink our teeth into in just a couple of weeks.

When Arrow gave way to a Flash spinoff last year, we knew that there would be crossover potential, but weren’t quite expecting something as big as this. In case you haven’t heard, December will kick off with a special two-night crossover event. The fisticuffs begin on Tuesday, December 2nd during The Flash episode “Flash Vs. Arrow,” and continue with Arrow on Wednesday, in the episode titled “The Brave and the Bold.”

In anticipation for the big team-up, The CW has released a handful of images from both episodes to hold us over for the next couple of weeks. They show a brief glimpse of Barry Allen and Oliver Queen engaging in fisticuffs in full costume, shots of what looks like a more friendly encounter, the pair facing off against DC supervillain Captain Boomerang, a glimpse of Felicity and Diggle’s trip from Star City to neighboring metropolis, Central City, and more.

You can check out the images below:

The Flash airs on The CW on Tuesdays at 8pm, while Arrow hits the airwaves at the same time and place, except on Wednesdays.
