Over the years, Scooby-Doo and the gang have taken part in some memorable team-ups. Believe it or not, those meddling kids can lay claim to having met the likes of Batman and Robin, the Three Stooges, the Harlem Globetrotters and even the cast of Gilligan’s Island. In fact, DC even published an ongoing comic titled Scooby-Doo Team-up in recent years.

But, later this month, the Great Dane with an insatiable hunger will cross paths with Sam and Dean Winchester in what’s expected to be an unforgettable animated mashup. Sure, Supernatural is still riding high after Bobby Singer’s recent return (even if it’s his doppelganger), but this’ll likely take the cake as the most memorable thing to come out of season 13.

Now, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we’ve got 27 new photos to flip through, teasing us with what’s on the way. We get to see both the live action and animated sides of the adventure, too, and it really does look like the best of both worlds.

From what we understand, the crossover comes about when Sam and Dean are gifted a magical television, which sucks them inside a Scooby-Doo cartoon.

“Once they get over their amazement at being in the cartoon, two things happen,” co-showrunner Robert Singer said in a recent interview. “They say, ’We’ve been in a situation like this before with the Trickster and I think we’re supposed to play this out.’ And then they realize they’re in a Scooby-Doo cartoon, which makes Dean incredibly excited because Scooby-Doo was his favorite cartoon growing up.”

For more, here’s the official synopsis for the episode:

Sam, Dean and Castiel are transported into the animated world of Scooby Doo where they join forces with the Scooby gang to solve a ghostly mystery.

Supernatural airs on Thursday nights on The CW, with the Scooby-Doo crossover set to go down on March 29th. Will you be tuning in? Be sure to let us know by dropping a comment down below.
