Gillian Anderson And Jamie Dornan Play Cat And Mouse In Trailer For The Fall Season 2

In acclaimed BBC 2 drama, The Fall, Jamie Dornan proved that just because you're incredibly good-looking, doesn't mean you can't absolutely terrify viewers. While the actor-model has since landed the much-coveted lead in saucy adaptation, Fifty Shades Of Grey, he'll be back for The Fall's second season as serial killer Paul Spector.

In acclaimed BBC 2 drama, The Fall, Jamie Dornan proved that just because you’re incredibly good-looking, doesn’t mean you can’t absolutely terrify viewers. While the actor-model has since landed the much-coveted lead in saucy adaptation, Fifty Shades Of Grey, he’ll be back for The Fall‘s second season as serial killer Paul Spector.

Starring opposite Dornan is returning lead, Gillian Anderson, who will reprise her role Superintendant Stella Gibson. Their paths sorta crossed at the end of the first season, when Spector upped his game and began taunting the detective from a safe distance. He narrowly avoided being caught, in one of TV’s most talked about shows of last year.

Now, with this first glimpse at the second season, it seems Gibson’s dogged attempts to uncover his true identity are set to continue. This time around, Spector’s big-headed ego shows no signs of stopping as he targets Gibson personally. There are a few shots indicating that the scream-at-the-tv brilliance of the first season will be back in full force. Speaking of, if you haven’t already caught the initial run of episodes, they’re available on Netflix instant streaming. We highly recommend checking them out before the interweb is awash with chatter about the second season.

Reprising their roles for the sophomore season are Bronagh Waugh, Archie Panjabi, Karen Hassan, Emmett Scanlan, Simon Delaney and John Lynch. The newest additions to the cast roster include Colin Morgan, Claire Rafferty, Patrick Fitzsymons, Jonjo O’Neill, Tim Loane and Bronagh Taggart.

The Fall is expected to land sometime before the end of 2014.
