New Gotham Promo Preserves Jerome’s Legacy

If you’ve been keeping up with the series, then you’re well aware of how Jerome Valeska is no longer among the living (again). But regardless of that, his infernal legacy will reluctantly live on through his twin brother, Jeremiah, who is in the process of transitioning to this show’s version of the Joker for all intents and purposes. True, it looks like he may be referred to as “J” for now, but we’ll take what we can get.

Getting back to the topic of the newly released promo that can be viewed at the top, it shows us a video tape containing Jerome’s Last Will and Testament, which demands that Jim Gordon throw the departed villain a wake – and at the GCPD, no less.

What ensues is a circus of the most insane order, something that appears to knock over the next domino in the line which’ll give way to the introduction of the Clown Prince of Crime. Either way, consider me as being glued to my seat once this baby actually hits airwaves.

For more on “A Dark Knight: That Old Corpse,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

Chaos erupts at the GCPD, sending Gordon on a wild goose chase for the culprit behind the mass takeover. Meanwhile, a friend of Bruce’s becomes paranoid, resulting in rash and destructive behavior in the all-new “A Dark Knight: That Old Corpse” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, May 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX

Gotham returns with new episodes on Thursday, May 3 on Fox.
