Grodd’s Back In New Clip From Tomorrow Night’s Episode Of The Flash

Following last week’s huge episode of The Flash, which featured The Fastest Man Alive squaring off with Zoom in one of the show’s most brutal fight sequences to date, tomorrow night’s instalment shows no signs of slowing down and letting viewers catch their breath. That’s because Gorilla Grodd will be making his return, and a new clip has now been released that teases just that.

As you can see, it features Joe West learning about his return shortly after Cisco was attacked by an obviously mind-controlled Caitlin Snow. With The Flash stuck in a wheelchair following his altercation with Zoom, there’s very little Barry can do, but we know from a recent promo that the Earth-2 Harrison Wells will suit up as Reverse-Flash to try and fool Grodd into returning Caitlin.

Here’s the synopsis for the episode – titled “Gorilla Warfare” – courtesy of The CW:

Grodd returns to Central City and kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Barry (Grant Gustin) and team race to find her before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) plans his first date with the new barista at Jitters, Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) begins to suspect Barry is hiding something from her. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

There’s a lot to look forward to in this episode of The Flash, including how Barry regains the use of his legs and what’s next for Grodd. Many fans believe he’ll end up being the big bad of season three, but it remains to be seen if this instalment of the hit CW series will set that up in any way.
