Reverse-Flash Returns In New Promo For Next Week’s Episode Of The Flash

A New Zealand promo has been released for next week's episode of The Flash, and it features the shocking return of the Reverse-Flash. Sort of. In reality, this is the Earth-2 Harrison Wells who has dressed up in one of Eobard Thawne's costumes in a bid to fool the returning Gorilla Grodd, and, well, the look on Barry Allens' face pretty much says it all!

Still, this is a very cool visual, and a great idea from Wells to trick Grodd into letting Caitlin go after the telepathic gorilla kidnaps her. There’s nothing The Flash can do of course, as he’s been rendered powerless since clashing with Zoom.

Here’s a description of the episode – titled “Gorilla Warfare” – courtesy of The CW:

Grodd returns to Central City and kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Barry (Grant Gustin) and team race to find her before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) plans his first date with the new barista at Jitters, Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) begins to suspect Barry is hiding something from her. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

Season two of The Flash has been on a roll so far, and if Grodd’s last appearance was anything to go by, this instalment of the hit series should be a real highlight.
