Over on the official Netflix Twitter account, the service shared an eye-popping promotional image that places its leading actress on display, dressed in full gothic aesthetic — which includes a stunning black-and-white striped dress with a matching umbrella and black leather gloves. “Tomorrow is Wednesday,” was written in the tweet, signaling to subscribers that the Netflix series is set to drop tomorrow. Since plans for the series were first announced back in 2020 during quarantine, Tim Burton devotees have maintained a certain level of excitement leading up to the series’ debut. Over the last few months, several spooky featurettes have introduced the world to Ortega as Wednesday, which has generated significant praise and positive reviews for the 20-year-old actress.

And despite the ever-present excitement surrounding the upcoming project, Ortega herself has admitted to the “nerve-wracking” experience of portraying such an infamous fictional character — especially in the presence of acclaimed filmmaker Tim Burton. Nevertheless, eagle-eyed subscribers are undoubtedly looking forward to the premiere episode, which lands on Netflix tomorrow, Nov. 23.
