So, even though Diggle has suited up in Oliver’s stead a few times in the past, that doesn’t mean this gargantuan shift didn’t come as any less of a surprise – especially when we’ve been told that this new status quo will remain in place for the immediate future.

For those of you follow news pertaining to shows such as this, you’re probably used to seeing promo images being released online well in advance of a given episode’s air date. In the case of “Next of Kin,” this was no different, but the network decided to hold back a few choice selections that had nothing to do with the resurgence of “Olicity,” unbeknownst to the rest of us.

This time, though, they’re willing to give us a handful of images showing Diggle fully decked out in the Green Arrow gear. And while we may have grown accustomed to seeing actor David Ramsey in his Spartan threads, it’s hard to deny how badass he looks here. But as someone who actually owns that very costume, I can attest to the fact that it can make just about anybody look cool.

Arrow airs on Thursday nights on The CW.
