Lady Gaga Will Be Back For More Scares In The Next American Horror Story

In an interview with New York City radio station Z100, singer turned actress Lady Gaga revealed that she will be returning for the next season of American Horror Story. As usual with the anthology series, little is known about the next installment, but now it seems that Gaga is in fact the franchise's new Jessica Lange.

In an interview with New York City radio station Z100, singer turned actress Lady Gaga revealed that she will be returning for the next season of American Horror Story. As usual with the anthology series, little is known about the next installment, but now it seems that Gaga is in fact the franchise’s new Jessica Lange.

The NYC-based radio station directly asked her if she would be back for more in the horror-stuffed series, and she responded with a succinct “yes.”

In an interview with New York City radio station Z100 on Friday morning, Gaga announced that she’ll be back for the the sixth round of the FX anthology series. When asked if she will return, the pop star simply answered: “Yes.”

She then added, “I can’t promise you how or when or anything like that.”

Gaga entered American Horror Story with last year’s fifth season, subtitled “Hotel.” Her performance of The Countess was divisive to say the least, but that might have been the most ingenius move by co-creator Ryan Murphy in casting the popular singer: American Horror Story itself is one of the most divisive shows on TV right now.

All the same, Gaga won the Golden Globe for her portrayal of the villainous vampire in Hotel, beating out actresses like Kirsten Dunst in Fargo and Felicity Huffman in American Crime. Murphy and the show’s creators have yet to confirm the new season’s theme, but previous reports pointed to the possibility of two seasons of the show this year.

Given that we’ve still not heard any news on that front, and it’s already March, that’s probably unlikely. But in regards to any new announcements surrounding the next installment of American Horror Story, we’ll be sure to keep you updated, so stay tuned.
