The CW has released the first batch of images from next week’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and in them we get a look at the team as they set off for an adventure in Ronald Reagan era America. While there, Damien Darhk has somehow become an adviser to the President, and chances are that’s down to the Reverse-Flash.

After all, he seems to be the one pulling the strings and will likely end up being responsible for assembling the Legion of Doom (along with Darhk, the other members are Captain Cold and Malcolm Merlyn). While we do catch a glimpse of the Arrow villain in the gallery above, that’s not actually the most interesting reveal.

Before we get to that though, here’s the synopsis for “Compromised.”

When the Legends trace a timequake to President Reagan’s White House, they are shocked to discover their old enemy Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) is now a Senior Adviser to Reagan. As the team works to uncover what Darhk has up his devious sleeve, Sara (Caity Lotz) struggles with the choice of getting revenge or helping with the team’s larger mission.

Aliens star Lance Henriksen is playing Obsidian in Legends of Tomorrow, and if that name sounds familiar, it’s because we met a younger version of the character in the “Justice Society of America” episode of The CW series. Sure, he’s ditched the costume here, but he’s a good thirty of forty years older to be fair.

So far, Legends of Tomorrow‘s second season has so far been better than the first (despite the lack of Rip Hunter), and with any luck, this instalment will shed further light on the overarching story.
