Liv Loses Her Grip On Reality In New iZombie Clips

So far, this season of iZombie has seen Liv Moore consume some very interesting brains. As a result, she's adopted the traits of a party girl, a preschool teacher and, most hilarious of all, a dominatrix, to name but a few. This week, she sees what it's like for those on the receiving end of the paddle when she ingests the grey matter of the very person who killed the aforementioned disciplinarian several weeks back.

In addition to temporarily developing an affinity for masochism, Liv will experience hallucinations much like the deceased did in his lifetime. As such, she’ll be seeing a manifestation of Drake, which is on display in the clip embedded at the top. The intriguing thing is that she knows he isn’t there but can’t help acknowledging him.

As for the second clip, it sees imaginary Drake interrupt a session with “Mistress P.” What’s especially funny about this scene is how Peyton’s able to take her zombie roommate seeing a ghost in stride, especially when you recall how she freaked out upon learning Liv’s secret back in season 1. But hey, this is the new normal and, according to actress Aly Michalka herself, she enjoys being in the loop.

For more information regarding “Return of the Dead Guy,” be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

THINGS AREN’T ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM – Peyton (Aly Michalka) and Liv (Rose McIver) find themselves on a surprising wild goose chase. Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is terrified when the zombie truth hunters’ plans are revealed. Elsewhere, Major (Robert Buckley) finds comfort in an unexpected – and perhaps unwelcome – friend. Malcolm Goodwin and David Anders also star. Written by Talia Gonzalez & Bisanne Masoud and directed by Viet Nguyen.

iZombie airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
