Not surprisingly, there was more to Jeremiah than met the eye and he has indeed aligned himself with the shadowy group, much as we predicted. It should be interesting to see if he is, in fact, acting under duress or has endured some kind of mental conditioning that his put him beyond the point of no return. Regardless of which proves true, it’s undeniable that he’s put both Kara and Alex through a hell they never thought possible. But, hey, it’s we the viewers who win, right?

What caught my attention in the extended trailer that can be viewed at the top was Lillian Luthor telling Jeremiah, “you’re the only Superman we need.” Now, Hank Henshaw has already referred to himself as Cyborg Superman on the show, but how cool would it be to see the producers call an audible and make Dean Cain an evil version of the Man of Steel now that we know his character has a few enhancements of his own?

For more information regarding “Exodus,” be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

As Alex (Chyler Leigh) searches for Jeremiah (guest star Dean Cain) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) investigates a series of alien kidnappings, the sisters realize they must break the rules to foil a new Cadmus plot. In an effort to get Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez) to run a story that would help her stop Cadmus, Kara agrees to set up an interview between Snapper and Supergirl. Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Eric Carrasco.

Supergirl airs on Monday nights on The CW.
