During its second week on the platform, Black Mirror accumulated a total of 60.4 million hours watched and received a total of 11.6 million views.
Season six of this popular Netflix anthology contains five new stories that fans are calling “much darker” compared to the previous seasons. One of which is titled ‘Joan is Awful,’ and serves as a meta-commentary on artificial intelligence, featuring a streaming platform that parodies Netflix itself. Meanwhile, another episode, titled ‘Loch Henry,’ focuses on the True Crime genre, which has risen in popularity recently.

Since then, it has been well received by fans and critics alike, earning an average critics’ score of 83 percent and an audience score of 80 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
