The final piece of Fox’s recent promotional campaign for Gotham was revealed today, as we now have our first official looks at Jim Gordon and The Penguin. For the past week or so we’ve been receiving character shots of all the major players on the show. From Harvey Bullock to Alfred Pennyworth to Selina Kyle and a young Bruce Wayne, we’ve seen it all. Now, the final two pieces are here, and we have them for your viewing pleasure below.

Gordon, a detective in Gotham during this prequel but destined to become Police Commissioner and ally himself with the Dark Knight, looks pretty unremarkable in his shot, seeing as it’s simply Ben McKenzie in a suit. For Gordon more than perhaps any other character, we’ll have to see him in action before making any judgments.

The Penguin, on the other hand, is kind of interesting and a far cry from Danny DeVito’s portrayal of the character in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns. In fact, he looks quite different than most incarnations of the character in the past. The Penguin has always been a short, stubby and somewhat grotesque man. Here, however, he’s rather slim. Of course, the show is a prequel and thus takes place before the events of any of the live-action Batman films that we’ve seen, so that could explain his atypically normal appearance.

Shooting on Gotham is currently underway, with the show expected to arrive on Fox in the fall. Check out the photos of Gordon and the Penguin below and let us know what you think of how they look.
