Honestly, that’s no bad thing, and this latest promo for Arrow offers up a first look at his new vigilante team in action. Some recent set photos showed them assembled, but here we get to see the likes of Mister Terrific, Artemis, and Wild Dog actually showing off what they can – and can’t – do.

Needless to say, this is a very different team to what both Green Arrow and viewers are used to seeing, and it should be fun to see what sort of an impact this ends up having on the show. After all, it would be pretty disappointing if the old Team Arrow is back after a few episodes, but unless the audience responds well to these newcomers, that may very well be the case.

Whatever the future holds in store for them, it really does seem as if the titular hero will have the odds stacked against him when he goes up against Chad L. Coleman’s mysterious new big bad. He’s not playing a character from the comics, but based on what we see here, he’ll be attempting to unite all of Star City’s criminals against the hero when Arrow returns next month.
