First Look Promo For Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3, Episode 9: “Closure”

Following last night’s action-packed instalment of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a new promo has been released for the show’s return next month. Based on what we see here, Ward and HYDRA are going to continue to take centre stage, but could the fan-favourite character’s long hoped for return to the side of the angels now be impossible?

It certainly looks that way, especially with the way Agent Coulson can be seen here determined to bring him down once and for all. It’s a shame, but Ward may just be past the point of no return, so it could be that he’s going to have to go down at the hands of S.H.I.E.L.D. rather than ever getting the chance to once again work with the team as many have hoped for up until now.

Here’s the brief synopsis for the episode, courtesy of ABC:

“Closure” – Ward’s campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to their knees, and Coulson proves he will do anything to settle the score, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, December 1st on ABC.

Season two of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been on a roll, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. It will of course be tough waiting for it to return in December, but it’ll clearly be worth it.
