Actually, the Powers That Be didn’t strain themselves too much while coming up with a title for said episode, as they settled on “King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd.” But in all honesty, the beauty lies in the simplicity and straightforwardness, so there was really no reason to overthink it.

Had you been keeping up with news pertaining to the series, then you knew this confrontation was coming. If not, then you may recall Nora letting it slip when recounting Barry’s greatest adventures around the time she joined Team Flash. Either way, word got out.

Cool as this sounds, I can’t help remembering how The Flash‘s CGI monsters can be hit or miss. So, let’s hope the visual effects team were afforded ample time to give this episode the needed polish. Don’t forget how much better the first part of season 3’s Gorilla City arc looked when compared to the second.

At this point in time, no synopsis has been given for “King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd,” though it should be interesting to see if the two merely fight and our heroes get caught in the crossfire, or if they eventually unite and become a royal pain for the STAR Labs crew.

In any case, we’ll find out soon enough, as The Flash returns with new episodes on Tuesday, March 5th on The CW.
