New Sense8 Trailers Reveal The Characters

As someone with a deep and abiding passion for Cloud Atlas, I've committed myself to seeing anything that the Wachowskis made - even overblown trollop like Jupiter Ascending. Luckily, the sibling directors' Netflix series Sense8 looks a lot more interesting than their last feature ever did. It's a mind-bending sci-fi story about individuals joined together by some mysterious neural anomaly - and that's really all I need to know.

As someone with a deep and abiding passion for Cloud Atlas, I’ve committed myself to seeing anything that the Wachowskis made – even overblown trollop like Jupiter Ascending. Luckily, the sibling directors’ Netflix series Sense8 looks a lot more interesting than their last feature ever did. It’s a mind-bending sci-fi story about individuals joined together by some mysterious neural anomaly – and that’s really all I need to know.

For anyone who wants more exposition, though, Netflix has released a series of trailers focusing on the series’ characters, eight individuals from different backgrounds, united only in their inexplicable connection to one another. Check them out below, along with the plot summary:

One gunshot, one death, one moment out of time that irrevocably links eight minds in disparate parts of the world, putting them in each other’s lives, each other’s secrets, and in terrible danger. Ordinary people suddenly reborn as “Sensates.”

Sense8 drops next Friday, June 5, on Netflix.
