Who knew Arya would be one of the most discussed characters in Game of Thrones season 8?

The little – well, maybe not so little anymore – Stark girl has been at the center of perhaps this current run’s biggest moments, and it’s been great to see. In episode 2, she got it on with Gendry in a rather shocking sex scene and last night, she delivered the final blow to the Night King with her Valyrian Steel dagger.

Understandably, the fans loved it and have already taken to Twitter to share their reactions, and so as Sophie Turner. The actress, who plays Sansa Stark on the hit fantasy series, always has great reactions to the show’s biggest moments and this instance was no different.

Hopping on social media, here’s what the star shared:

Clearly, Sophie’s feelings echo those of many fans, with everyone calling Arya the MVP of the night – and possibly the whole season – with her surprising and bold move against the Night King. Of course, with three episodes still to come, we’re sure the showrunners still have many more surprises up their sleeves for us, but at the moment, Maisie Williams’ fan favorite character has definitely made the biggest impact on viewers this year and we can’t wait to see what’s to come.

On that note, Game of Thrones will return to our screens this Sunday to deal with the aftermath of The Battle of Winterfell and explore what it means for everyone moving forward. The promo (seen up above) certainly teases some exciting developments, but we’ll see exactly what HBO has planned for us later this week.

In the meantime, tell us, what did you think of Arya’s big scene last night? As always, you can share your thoughts down below.
