Arrow Season 7 Premiere Will Contain One Of The Series’ Best Action Scenes

When a series has been on the air as long as Arrow, there's bound to be a seemingly endless list of moments to have resonated with fans. If I were to ask you to fire off your top five favorite scenes right now, it'd probably take you a few minutes to choose, but odds are that you're well aware of which epic fights or cliffhangers knocked your socks off.

Of course, lead actor Stephen Amell sees things from a different perspective than the rest of us because, well, he was there for much of the filming. As such, he compiled a list of his three favorite action sequences over on Twitter:

“I’ve been singularly proud of 3 action sequences in Arrow.

In order of appearance:

1. GA’s taking on Adam Hunt’s men in the pilot.

2. Fighting R’as al Ghul on a freaking mountain.

3. 701.”

Though it probably won’t take very long for you to recall the first two, know that what Amell meant by saying “701” is that something to be witnessed in the premiere episode of season 7 will be one for the ages. Perhaps we’ll have to wait three months to find out, or some sort of teaser will be offered this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con.

If I were to hazard a guess, we may end up seeing Oliver Queen being forced to fight multiple inmates in close quarters. Don’t forget, the Emerald Archer will start off the next year in prison, so it stands to reason that his immediate future won’t be peaches and cream – unless, of course, he meets a new duo of supervillains named “Peaches and Cream.”

All will be revealed when Arrow returns for its seventh season on Monday, October 15 on The CW.
