New Stranger Things Season 3 Set Pics Feature The Whole Gang
It only took two seasons (and a truckload of Eggos) for Stranger Things to cement its status as a Netflix staple.
Inspired by some of the movie greats of yesterday (and starring the stars of tomorrow), the 80s-set sci-fi series is all about the quaint town of Hawkins, Indiana, which finds itself smack bang in the middle of a government conspiracy after the local energy department begins experimenting with forces beyond their control.
And so, the Upside Down was born. It’s the realm in which dark and evil things fester, and though Eleven and the gang were able to fend off the Shadow Monster and his pack of Demodogs during season 2, Stranger Things season 3 will once again blur the line between our world and the next, resulting in a whole new saga of thrills and supernatural spills.
But it doesn’t all have to be doom and gloom; over on Just Jared, for instance, new set photos for Stranger Things have emerged in which the show’s young ensemble – namely Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink – share a laugh between takes.
So, with that said, here’s a little dose of Hawkins happiness to brighten your Monday:

Aside from the fact that season 3 is rooted in the summer of 1985 (the year in which Hawkins welcomes a huge mall known as the ‘Starcourt’), specific details on Stranger Things‘ latest installment are locked away in the Netflix vaults, where they’ll likely remain for the next few months at least.
Be that as it may, it’s said to be bigger and more action-packed than previous installments, and we know season 3 of Stranger Things is aiming for a premiere sometime next year, by which point Chief Jim Hopper may well find love, after all.
