The first clip has been released from Monday’s episode of Supergirl, and it sees the character pitted against the villainous Reactron (Sons of Anarchy alum Chris Browning). In the comic books, the character was actually introduced as a Superman villain and has since squared off with the likes of Power Girl and the Doom Patrol. He even briefly served as a member of the Suicide Squad. In other words, he’s definitely a formidable foe.

Here’s the synopsis of the episode – titled “Fight of Flight” – courtesy of CBS:

Supergirl’s powers are tested when Reactron, one of Superman’s formidable enemies, arrives in National City and targets the young hero. Also, Cat plans to run an exposé on Supergirl, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Nov. 9.

This instalment of Supergirl will also properly introduce Peter Facinelli as tech entrepreneur Maxwell Lord. He made a very brief cameo in the second episode and clearly wasn’t a fan of National City’s new hero, so it should be interesting to see how he ends up factoring into the show moving forward. The clip below offers at least a glimpse of the Wonder Woman villain, but doesn’t give us too much insight into what his ultimate plan is.

Supergirl has so far exceeded expectations, and the below video points to another great adventure for the iconic DC Comics character this Monday.
