New Synopsis For The Flash Reveals When Gypsy Will Return

Had you tuned in for last week’s episode of The Flash, you’re probably well aware of how there may soon be a shakeup to the show’s status quo. And no, we’re not talking about the possible return of Eobard Thawne, but rather, something that may greatly affect the future of one Cisco Ramon.

You see, upon losing his vibing abilities due to old age, Breacher presented quite the unique opportunity to Cisco. Long story short, Gypsy’s father wants the Team Flash stalwart to take his place on Earth-19, thereby being his daughter’s new partner in hunting criminals throughout the multiverse.

While this would allow for Cisco to spend more time with his lady love, you have to admit that it’d mean he’d have to vacate his position at STAR Labs. If so, it’d provide actor Carlos Valdes with an exit, but it’s very hard to imagine the show without him at this point.

Well, as it turns out, Gypsy is set to return during the May 1st episode that’s titled “Therefore She Is.” As such, we anticipate that we be given a generous hint as to where this subplot is headed. And with the current season winding down, you don’t need us to tell you that anything can happen.

Anyway, here’s what to expect when the time comes:

GYPSY RETURNS — Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash team up with Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) to try to thwart Thinker’s plan. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Gypsy have a heart to heart talk about their relationship. Rob J. Greenlea directed the episode written by Sterling Gates & Thomas Pound (#420).  Original airdate 5/1/2018.

Looking at that description, we have to acknowledge this could go either way. Still, it should be interesting to see if she’s able to turn the tide against DeVoe – and if the big bad will find himself yet another host before then.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
