‘The Mandalorian’ fans think Bo-Katan just got her groove back

It's time to say goodbye to the throne of sadness. Bo-Katan is back, baby!

This article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian season 3, episode 3

Bo-Katan wasn’t doing so well when we reunited with her in the first episode of The Mandalorian season three. Her days seemed to consist of moping in a big chair in an empty palace, with dreams of leading the Mandalorian people to a bright new future quickly fading away.

Now, as of episode three, it’s looking like she’s heading for a major comeback. Last week, we saw her rescue Din from a cyborg scuttling around the depths of Mandalore before guiding him to the Mines and its purifying Living Waters. Even there, she seemed very blase about the place, right up until she dove into the water and came face-to-face with the mighty Mythosaur.

Now, with her depression castle bombed to bits, she’s been taken in by Din Djarin’s Mandalorian Covert, and might finally be figuring out this is in fact “the Way”. Star Wars fans are pleased to see she’s back on an upwards trajectory:

Maybe it’s time for a rethink of her priorities?

It’s good to know that Star Wars‘ solution for an existential crisis is to join a fanatical fundamentalist cult:

Even so, we’re betting she’s really missing her throne of sadness:

But could there be trouble brewing?

We doubt whether she’ll be happy as a mere follower for long…

And it’s like poetry, it rhymes:

We still think there’s trouble brewing between Bo-Katan and Din. While she claims to not want the Darksaber anymore, the events of last week’s episode means she now theoretically has a legitimate claim to it. Let’s face it, after having her faith restored by seeing the Mythosaur and embracing “The Way,” it’d make sense for her to rekindle those old ambitions of leading her people to glory.

The Mandalorian airs Wednesdays on Disney Plus.
