The Walking Dead Season Finale Clip Finds Sasha With A Tough Choice To Make

When poor Sasha charged into the Saviors' compound guns blazing in the closing moments of last Sunday's penultimate season 7 episode of The Walking Dead, she probably only counted on one of two things happening: either she'd manage to kill Negan - before almost certainly being taken out herself - or she'd be killed before getting to him. Either way, she must have figured it was going to be a one-way trip, but of course, things didn't quite work out that way and the situation is now a lot more complicated.

When poor Sasha charged into the Saviors’ compound guns blazing in the closing moments of last Sunday’s penultimate season 7 episode of The Walking Dead, she probably only counted on one of two things happening: either she’d manage to kill Negan  – before almost certainly being taken out herself –  or she’d be killed before getting to him. Either way, she must have figured it was going to be a one-way trip, but of course, things didn’t quite work out that way and the situation is now a lot more complicated.

Negan managed to take Sasha alive, and after being forced to choose between death or joining the Saviors, the desperate Alexandrian decided on the latter, probably figuring she could buy a little more time to formulate a plan. Unfortunately, Negan is not the patient type, and after being told about Rick’s betrayal by a “little bird,” the ruthless villain is now determined to make the first move.

In this new sneak peek from the season finale, “The First Day of the Rest of Your Life,” Negan brings his prisoner breakfast in the hopes that she’ll decide to help him put a stop to Rick’s uprising. He promises that, although someone is going to have to die, the majority of Sasha’s friends in Alexandria will be spared. The clip ends with Sasha asking Negan what part he needs her to play.

If you’ve read Robert Kirkman’s source material, chances are you’ll already have a pretty good idea how all of this works out – but then again, the show has always at least attempted to subvert expectations, so there’s always the possibility we’ll be (un)pleasantly surprised. Either way, be sure to tune in to The Walking Dead season 7 finale this Sunday on AMC for what promises to be a nail-biting conclusion to the current storyline.
