Titans Season Finale Photos Reveal Joker, Trigon And The Batcave

Given all we've recently learned about Titans' season finale, I must say this is the most hyped I've been for a specific episode since "Jason Todd" - even if the ones focusing on Hawk and Dove were every bit as good. But when you factor in a Batman who's seemingly gone mad and is now knocking off supervillains, well, then color me intrigued.

Given all we’ve recently learned about Titans‘ season finale, I must say this is the most hyped I’ve been for a specific episode since “Jason Todd” – even if the ones focusing on Hawk and Dove were every bit as good. But when you factor in a Batman who’s seemingly gone mad and is now knocking off supervillains, well, then color me intrigued.

More recent evidence presented strongly suggests that this world where the Dark Knight has lost his marbles is but a fantasy created by Trigon, though that doesn’t mean the adventure will be any less exciting. At the end of the day, we still get Robin vs. Batman, with the latter being able to retain hero status because the former Boy Wonder is in the Matrix, for lack of a better term.

Either way, we invite you to browse the gallery below featuring a few images circulating in advance of “Dick Grayson.” If you haven’t been following along, the well-dressed gentleman pictured with Raven, her mother and Beast Boy is actually Trigon, though I’d assume a CGI uber-demonic form may put in appearance before the season wraps.

Also of note is the Joker in a hospital bed, thus suggesting that he survived being brutalized by Batman. But if indeed this whole thing’s a false reality, then it doesn’t really matter if he’s alive or dead, now does it? Regardless, the cameo’s appreciated.

One final thing worth mentioning is the photo showing a SWAT team invading the Batcave, which looks to be as technologically advanced as one would hope. As much as I love The Dark Knight Trilogy, I was disappointed by how that take on the sanctum was little more than a cave with a computer console at its center, so I’m jazzed to see something on par with what Batman V Superman and Justice League had to offer.

For more info on “Dick Grayson,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

In the season finale, Trigon’s powers send Dick into a dreamscape that begins with him living a happy domestic life, but soon takes him into a dark journey back to Gotham.

Titans airs on Fridays on DC Universe.
