Netflix TUDUM

TUDUM has already served Netflix subscribers their freshest disappointment

Heartbroken, but not surprised.

Yes, Extraction 3 is being discussed, we had our first look at Squid Game season two, but Netflix can’t exactly go through an entire TUDUM event without stepping on some hearts in the process.

When the lead cast of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest stepped on the stage, it was known that we will be getting a sneak peek at Bridgerton season three and Netflix certainly disappoint on that front as it dropped new looks at the lead characters and their updated makeovers.

But what left hearts crumbling was when everyone’s beloved Queen and King descended the stage without so much as a promise that they will at least return in some form in the ongoing Bridgerton series. We know, Queen Charlotte was destined to be a limited series, but it won’t be the first successful “limited” series that left its initial designation in the past with an extension.

Hopes for its renewal were also fueled by showrunner Shonda Rhimes when she didn’t shoot down the possibility of Queen Charlotte getting another season in a chat with Entertainment Weekly

“There have been questions, but I’m not having conversations about it yet. I could live with Charlotte and George forever, but we told a very specific story that I think is a complete tale of this complicated, imperfect love. But I’m not ruling anything out because I never know.”

Well, despite the disappointment, fans of Queen Charlotte and King George are not going to give up hope anytime soon. After all, the Bridgerton spin-off still has a future, unlike the Netflix thriller that has neither been canceled nor renewed after its stellar debut 3 years ago.
