The second season of Gotham is quickly winding down and we have two sneak peeks from tonight’s episode, titled “Wrath of the Villains: Unleashed,” for your viewing pleasure as you countdown the next few hours.

In the first clip (courtesy of E! Online), which can be viewed at the top, it seems as though Tabitha Galavan has felt the gravity of the situation developing over the course of the past few weeks and is willing to assist Jim Gordon in the hunt for her brother, Theo, who has now adopted the persona of Azrael. The two uncover the fabled sword hinted at in last week’s episode just before Azrael himself crashes the party. It seems as though he prefers it to the breakable facsimile Hugo Strange gave him. Kudos go to James Frain’s stuntman, as it’s always a treat to see that guy engage in combat.

Quite frankly, the second clip (via Entertainment Weekly) provides enough incentive by itself to make me want to tune in. In it, we see Selina Kyle fearlessly traversing the ventilation system at Arkham Asylum as she runs into an understandably spooked Edward Nygma. Given all that we have seen involving this guy, he must have witnessed some truly horrific stuff if someone such as him is on edge and is looking to breathe free air post haste.

In exchange for an escape route, Nygma lets Selina know how to get to the basement to find her friend. Said pal is none other than Bridgit Pike/Firefly; Michelle Veintimilla has been confirmed to reprise her role. It looks like this episode will be quite the barn burner, pun intended.

Azrael is on the loose in Gotham City, which sparks Penguin’s need for revenge. Meanwhile, Bruce enlists the help of Selina Kyle to help track down Professor Strange, as he evades arrest for his experiments.

Gotham airs Monday nights at 8:00 pm EST on Fox.
