First Look At Marvel’s She-Hulk TV Series Smashes Online

Disney has released our first look at Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk in the upcoming Marvel Studios TV series.

Our first look at the MCU’s newest heroine has smashed online. The She-Hulk TV series has been hotly anticipated ever since it was announced as part of Marvel’s second wave of Disney Plus shows back in 2019. While the studio has still yet to deliver another solo project for Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, instead we have this vehicle for Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters. And you can get your first glimpse at Shulkie via the video above.

Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany is playing Jen in the MCU. Similar to the comics, the lawyer inherits her cuz’s anger issues after he is forced to give her an emergency blood transfusion following an accident. Unlike Banner — or, at least, unlike him before Avengers: Endgame — Jen retains her human personality in her Hulked-out form. And for those who can’t wait to see Deadpool in the franchise, the character is known for her meta-humor and for breaking the fourth wall.

Maslany’s Jen will be pitted against her comic book nemesis Titania, who likewise possesses incredible strength, as played by The Good Place star Jameela Jamil. And Ruffalo isn’t the only familiar Hulk-verse actor returning for She-Hulk either, as Tim Roth is set to reprise Emil Blonsky/Abomination, following the villain’s recent cameo in Shang-Chi. Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Josh Segarra are also in the cast.

Fans have high hopes for the heroine beyond her own series, with many keeping their fingers crossed that her introduction could lead to the formation of all-female team A-Force, which Jen is often the leader of. But, first, we have She-Hulk season 1 to come, which will consist of 10 30-minute episodes. As with previous Marvel shows, it’ll have its own aesthetic and style, being described as a super-powered legal comedy.

Let us know how excited you are to meet She-Hulk in the comments.
