Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Voice season 23.
The Voice season 23 has been notable for a variety of reasons, but one reason that stands higher than others is the final outing as a mentor for show veteran Blake Shelton. While this is big news, on the night of the finale, all eyes are on the contestants as only one can emerge victorious.
After weeks of grueling competition, The Voice came down to just five finalists. These included Grace West, D. Smooth, Gina Miles, Sorelle, and NOIVAS. All five of these contestants have their own unique style that has carried them this far in the competition, but was it enough to take home the prize?
If you haven’t been able to watch the finale yourself then we suggest you do so before reading on. But, if you don’t mind spoilers then here is everything you need to know about Season 23’s winner.
Who won The Voice?
America voted and the winner of The Voice season 23 at the end of the night was Gina Miles from Team Niall.
In second place behind Miles, Team Blake’s Grace West scored runner-up. Continuing from the top, D.Smooth ended the season in third place, Sorelle in fourth, and NOIVAS in fifth
Surprisingly, going into finale night Miles was not the favorite to win. In fact, both Grace West and NOIVAS were favored over the singer. Fortunately for her, on the only night that mattered, the voting public showed up.
At just 18 years old, West has grown a lot as a singer on TV screens throughout this season of The Voice. Ultimately it was her distinctive voice and glowing stage presence that won over the public this season.
