Thea Queen has been a very interesting part of Arrow over the past few years. Starting off as Oliver’s slightly annoying little sister, she soon became a big part of The CW series’ emotional centre, and things took an unexpected turn when it was revealed that the villainous Malcom Merlyn is her real father.

From there, it looked like she might be about to take a bad turn, but a bit of brainwashing and one quick resurrection later, and Thea is now set to play a big role in season four of Arrow as Speedy.

If the costume above looks familiar, it’s because it used to belong to Arsenal (Colton Haynes left Arrow after season three to embark on a movie career). While she’ll start off as a big part of “Team Arrow,” it was recently revealed that Thea may begin feeling the effects of taking a dunk in the Lazarus Pit, so it should be interesting to see how her story plays out this year.

Arrow returns to The CW tomorrow, so we’ll hopefully find out more about what’s in store for Speedy then.

For now, tell us, do you think the series has handled Thea’s evolution into a superhero in an effective way? And how would you rate the costume? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
