The update will be available for The Solus Project on Xbox One from tomorrow, April 15, and is being called The Highpoint Expansion due to its highly vertical setting on the new location: Highpoint Island.

In The Highpoint Expansion, you’ll explore the new location along with its accompanying massive cave level. Tons of new content is added in the free expansion, with over three hours worth of additional story and gameplay including a new cave look, acid lakes, dozens of strange flying orbs, a monstrous creature, and even a mysterious massive windmill.

The expansion will also see you delve further into the world of The Solus Project and will allow you to uncover more of what has happened to the planet in the events prior to the game.

The Solus Project‘s Highpoint Expansion is now available for free on Steam and GOG with the Xbox One version coming on Friday, April 15.
