Civilization 5, the strategy game from developer Firaxis, will receive an expansion pack by the name of Gods and Kings on June 19 in North America and June 22 internationally.
According to the press release, the expansion “enhances the Civilization V experience by adding new civilizations, leaders, units, technologies and more, as well as the return of religion and espionage,” the latter two elements being sorely missed from the main game by hardcore fans of the series.
Players will be able to take part in new quests and competitions, with the promise of nine new civilizations, nine new wonders and three original scenarios sure to entice.
