This week is Destiny week, which means a whole slew of new information will be coming at us from Bungie in regards to their highly anticipated, upcoming title. Yesterday, we saw the first official look at the box art and today, we have two more goodies for you. One is a brand, spanking new gameplay trailer and the other is details surrounding the game’s upcoming beta.
First up, the new video (seen below). Though only about 2 minutes in length, it gives us a great look at one of the environments in the game, The Moon. A bit of narration sets the stage for what’s going on before jumping into some absolutely fantastic looking gameplay in which we see our heroes fighting against one of the main protagonists: The Hive.
It truly looks spectacular and this is by far my most anticipated title for 2014. Seriously, my excitement is off the charts for this one.
As for the beta, well, it’s pretty straight forward. If you pre-order the game, you will get early access to the beta, which includes a “diverse sampling of major activities featured in the full game.” Though an exact date hasn’t been set for when the beta open, it’s expected to be sometime in early 2014.
